How do telemedicine visits work at Complete Care?

After an accident, traveling to a clinic may not be easy. While we encourage in-person appointments whenever appropriate, Complete Care’s telemedicine services let you connect with a licensed provider from the comfort of your home on your phone, tablet, or computer.

Telemedicine provides a convenient option for evaluating non-life-threatening injuries after an auto accident or slip-and-fall accident. It’s also an important way to begin your recovery quickly while protecting your Florida PIP benefits.

Florida PIP law requires you to receive a medical evaluation within 14 days of your accident to remain eligible for Personal Injury Protection (PIP) benefits.

For many patients with non-life-threatening injuries, a telemedicine visit can satisfy that initial evaluation requirement.

During your virtual visit, your provider will:

  • Review your medical history
  • Discuss the details of your accident

An additional office visit is required in order to perform a head-to-toe evaluation, assess your symptoms and schedule imaging or other diagnostics if medically required.

Our coordinated care team can help arrange follow-up appointments, diagnostic imaging, or specialty services within the Complete Care network—making it easier to continue progressing toward an active recovery.

Eligible auto accident care is generally billed through your Florida PIP insurance. Our team will help you understand how your benefits apply to your care so you can focus on your recovery with confidence.

How a telemedicine visit works

Use your phone, tablet, or computer to meet virtually with a Complete Care provider from anywhere in Florida.

2. Receive an evaluation

3. Schedule an in-office visit

In order to assess your symptoms, we need to see you in person to conduct a comprehensive medical evaluation. our provider explains your injuries, answers your questions, and recommends the next steps in your care.

4. Begin your personalized recovery plan

If additional treatment, diagnostic imaging, or in-person care is needed, we’ll help coordinate the appropriate services within the Complete Care network so your recovery can continue without unnecessary delays.
