The People of Interventional Associates - Stefani Picton
Next in our series introducing the people of Interventional Associates is Stefani Picton. Stefani is a Clinical Support Representative with Interventional Associates and has been with the company for 18 months now.
Stefani is a Florida native and grew up in Geneva, a small town in Central Florida. In fact, the only time she hasn’t lived in Central Florida is when she moved to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University. She graduated from FSU in 2012 with a Bachelors in Business Administration and Management. When she came back home to begin her career, she soon realized that her passion to help others was not being fed. She then decided that she wanted to go back to school and continue her education within the health care field. She attended Advent Health University and began another educational journey. Simultaneously, She worked in the hospitality field to put herself through schooling. She was able to sharpen on her customer service skills and amplify the desire to offer a great experience to anyone she served or came in contact with. Right before graduation, Stefani gave birth to her son Evan and took on the role of a single mother. This fueled her desire to get into health care even more. She not only wanted to be able to provide the best life for her son but also realized the depth and importance in taking care of your health and the health of those you love. She soon found herself at Interventional Associates.
Stefani began her career with Interventional Associates as an Administrative Health Coordinator. She was the first face patients saw when walking into the clinic and always offered a warm smile. She was willing to sit in the lobby and help patients fill out their intake paperwork and would even wait downstairs with a wheelchair to bring the injured patients into the clinic. Soon after, She was promoted into the Patient Care Coordinator role, where she would devote her days to every patient that walked in the door and help navigate them through their treatment process. She exemplified her compassion for others and a few short months later, took on the role of Practice Manager. Stefani was an advocate for her patients and her employees. She was able to pull from her degrees and effectively manage the office on the administrative side and lead accordingly.
Stefani has such a deep-rooted love for Interventional Associates that she was asked to take on a new role and became the first Clinical Support Representative. She strongly believes in the value of good medicine that is backed with honest compassion, which is everything Interventional Associates is made up of.
Stefani wants to be able to offer that same “white glove” approach to those that work with us as well. She is the liaison between the clinic and the law office. She is there to make communication more efficient and effective for all parties. She is not only available to help with records, billing, scheduling educational presentations, but she can also give insight into the clinic and the things we have to offer. She wants to provide you the highest level of concierge and in her own words “is available 24/7/365, via phone call, text, or email.”
When she is not working, she likes to spend time at the beach with her three year old or exploring local cities and their coffee shops. Stefani is never short on a witty joke or a listening ear. She loves the relationships she has begun to cultivate within the legal community and can’t wait to invest in more!
