Shoulder Stabilization Brace Instructions
Using your Shoulder Brace
This brace can be worn throughout the day to help stabilize and limit range of motion of the shoulder
- The brace will be fitted to you in office
- The colored dots indicate where each strap should be placed
- Remove the Velcro from the side of the brace, place arm in bicep cuff on the affected side
- Slide the brace up the arm as if it is like a shirt
- Pull the brace all the way up until it is snug and secure on the shoulder
- Wrap the large strap around your chest and secure the Velcro on the front of the brace
- To remove, take the Velcro strap off the front of the brace and slide it down the arm
Important Instructions
- The brace should NOT be worn at night or while sleeping
- The doctor or Chiropractic Assistant in the office can adjust the brace to provide more range of motion as you improve
- Once you have seen a shoulder specialist, they may advise to continue or discontinue use of the brace
