Complete Care Gives Back

Embody Serviceship is one of our core values. Serviceship to us means always going above and beyond for our patients, our team members, and whoever we cross paths with that may need help.

At Complete Care in Orlando, giving back to the communities we serve is extremely important us. We believe our success hinges on how we help our patients. And, it only makes sense we support them, their loved ones, and others who may impact their daily lives, whether directly or indirectly, and either inside or outside the walls of our many locations.

United Against Poverty

One of the causes that is near and dear to us is United Against Poverty / UP Orlando. Whether through charity benefits, donations, or financial gifts, Complete Care embraces UP Orlando's mission to serve those in poverty by providing crisis care, case management, transformative education, food, and household subsidy, employment training, and active referrals to other collaborative social service providers.

United Against Poverty is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping those who live in poverty. Their mission is to provide crisis care, case management, education, food and household subsidy, employment training and active referrals to other providers. With campuses in Indian River County, Orlando, and St. Lucie County, they have been able to help thousands of struggling families. They believe that with a little help, poverty can be temporary and often people just need a little boost to lift themselves out of a difficult situation.

This mission struck home for the founders of Complete Care, as they strive to help those struggling with injuries from auto accidents throughout Central Florida. After seeing the amazing things United Against Poverty does, they knew that UP was the perfect organization to work with to give back to the community that has been so good to them.

In 2017, they committed to a $240,000 donation, which led UP in expanding their grocery share program and parking lot. Their Member Share Grocery Program is a dignified food and household assistance program where people can select the food items their families need. Qualified families who are living in the 200% or below Federal Poverty Level can be qualified to receive a free Member Card. This provides them access to various food and household products for a nominal handling fee per item. Any proceeds from those contributions are directed back to the facility to support their growing programs. Complete Care is proud to have helped expand this program and our team regularly volunteers in the grocery store.

Testimonials

“One of the things for IPM and for Complete Care is being involved in our community. The values of United Against Poverty and the values of Complete Care really go hand in hand, giving a hand up, not a hand out. We want to get people on the road to recovery when it comes to their injuries. So, it is a great combination and we really appreciate what United Against Poverty is doing in the community.”

Brent Williams

Chief Revenue Officer of Complete Care

"Everything has been on the plus side of meeting new people, building those new relationships with people that weren’t familiar with us before. And as a charitable organization, it’s all about relationships in the community and this is how we do it is by meeting people one at a time. But when you have a company like IPM, who is able to bring large groups of people together because of the integrity of their organization, it makes it a lot easier for us to navigate the community as a whole."

Eric Gray

Executive Director of United Against Poverty

In the Orlando area, 1 in 4 children lives in poverty.

Every 14 seconds, a car accident results in a victim injured.

These statistics are shocking, and unfortunately, affect our community each day. However, with Integrative Physical Medicine and United Against Poverty working together, they can both try to make Central Florida a better place. United Against Poverty is proud to serve over 500 people in poverty per day at their facility and Complete Care has over 20 locations serving 9 counties in Central Florida. The vast amount of services both organizations offer has helped thousands of patients on their road to recovery.
